About Me.

My Life

Hi, I’m Heidi!I was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 18. I have always struggled with many aspects of my social and emotional development, as well also live with Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. I was severely bullied at school, both by peers and teachers, and suffered from domestic violence at home, coupled with depression and anxiety which has made a significant impact on my life

.When I was younger, there was no support, no-one would pay attention, and no-one would intervene. I got told I was a misfit, I would not achieve, and I was just a naughty child, which had a big impact on my development as a person.

Why did I start 'Hope to inspire'

I have set up ‘Hope to Inspire’ to be the ultimate inspiration and trailblazer for the next generation. As society constantly changes, it is important that Autism Spectrum conditions are put to the forefront of peoples thinking. We need to empower young people to reach their full potential and support them to be the best they can be and give a message of hope to many to believe in themselves.

What do i want to achieve?

With a clear but simple mission of helping and inspiring others, I is a proud Motivational Speaker that is known for making a memorable impact. My unique approach combined with exceptional guidance and contagious enthusiasm makes me perfect for a variety of audiences and events.By providing with life experiences and knowledge, I have helped countless people, paving the way towards influencing and building positive futures for individuals who live with an autism spectrum condition within their local community

How I plan to achieve it?

I share some of my stories to try to make an ultimate difference for others who may be bullied or feel on the fringes of society and to encourage them to embrace exactly who they are and look beyond what 'others' may see .I am striving towards the goal to become the best I can be - we as people change over time, life challenges us and that's where personal growth comes in and it is so important to build necessary life skills, such as confidence, self-esteem, and celebration of achievement and also embrace encouragement in which through challenging situations of life, there is always hope
